• Trying to have both Posts and Pages in the same Domain causes various problems with addresses, a static front page and probably problems with plug ins
What is the best way to handle this? Two separate sets of WordPress programs?
How best to preserve the same domain name?

I’m not sure I understand what you’re referring to. There’s no reason you can’t have a WordPress site with both posts and page under the same domain, countless millions do. WordPress even installs with both a default “Hello World” post and a default “Sample Page” page.

When someone accesses the site do they see a page or a post?
When i cite an address what should I use.
It seems to me that there needs to be some clarification to separate the two. Save the same page/post in both formats?

Link please? Except for how they are displayed and organized (posts are in the loop, pages are not) there really is no difference between a post and a page.
