images in backend and not in frontend after reupload and uploading new images

Good Morning,

I’ve recently uploaded a lot of new pictures in my media library. The folders where the new images were had contained also a few images which I had already on the media library. I had also a lot of old pictures in media library which I didn’t use on my site. In order to keep the upload simple I’ve deleted all old images, also the images which I’ve used. Afterwards I’ve upload all images.

All images appear in the media library but not in the frontend. The folder structure is still the same and I didn’t change the name of the images which I used on my site.

I use the woocommerce plugin and I have the newest version installed.

The problem is, that the entries for the products show the standard picture for products which have no product image.

Before I’ve started the upload procedure the images where there. When I go under products I’see that there is no product image for that image even though there was one before the upload.

I know that I have the option to manually add again all product images to the products but I hope that you know an other solution, in order that the product images reappear?
