SEARCH function error

    WP search function no longer returns WP related blogs/topics but defaults to the website’s main pages/index page only.

    This error crossed version upgrades.

    Anyone? Anyone with an idea for a scripting error that won’t search blog archives and defaults instead to the main site index?

    Your search form’s action attribute has this for a value:

    action="/index.php"

    Change it to:

    action="/news/index.php"

    A heads up that the plugin Event Calendar (firetree.net) throws all searches out of whack. It has other issues as well; the plugin author is non-communicative. And what a shame; that plugin had promise.

    Just thought I’d let you know.
