    Let me start with compliments. This is a great plugin!
    However, I do have a problem with updating the connections.

    I have made several connections, so far so good. But when I want to update a connection (say, the working days or hours)
    – I press Edit
    – I make my changes
    – I press Save
    – I see “Saving…” top-right in the screen.
    – I do a Refresh of the screen
    – Nothing has changed

    All the fields are filled.

    Then I try to delete the connection so I can add it again with the changes.
    – Are you sure (Yes)
    – Deleting… Error…

    I have several WP-installations so I tried in anonther installation. Same problem there.
    Using WP 4.3.1. and EA 1.5.0

  • Hi Inula,

    this is most likely the case that your hosting is blocking PUT and DELETE HTTP methods, you can test this if you try to edit or delete something else. Like location or service. Can you try that?

    Thanks for your quick reaction (specially for a Sunday ;-))
    You are right, I just discovered that I also cannot change a reservation.
    So I’ll contact my hostingprovider.

    Have following problems the same cause?

    • In the e-mail that is sent after a reservation is made, the Personal Information is missing
    • User doesn’t receive e-mail at all while option “Send email to user” is marked

    regarding e-mail, there is bug in that part. I am working on fix. It should be over soon, in next 2-3 hours.

    My hostingprovider is not familiar with PUT en DELETE HTTP.
    Can you maybe be more specific?

    PS the personal information is in the mail now. However, user still doesn’t receive mail…
    By the way, where can I change the content of the mail. I changed the template, but is there an easier way in Settings?

    Hi Inula,

    new version is up and there is fix for email bug. You can change template for user email but not for email that is send to admin.

    Regarding hosting, can you ask them if they know why you web server is blocking the PUT and DELETE methods of HTTP. Do you use apache as web server or some other application?

    Thanks again for your answer. Apache it is.
    The provider told me this:

    PUT and DELETE are indeed disabled on the server, as they are also removed in many modern browsers due to a very high security risk. Unfortunately, you would not be able to use these methods within our servers. They are disabled for your protection as they can be commonly exploited to gain unauthorized access to your site. I apologize for any inconvenience.

    Is there a workaround? Cause I really like your plugin!

    I am planing to remove PUT and DELETE because it’s blocked by some hosts. You are fifth person with that problem. I will rewrite that part of plugin but it will take some time. Are you are willing to wait? I can do that by end of next week?

    new version is up 1.5.2 πŸ™‚ . There is option in customize part of settings page called Compatibility mode . Mark that, save options and refresh page. After that you will be able to edit and delete.
