When a visitor completes a form on my site, the email notification shows as coming from me, even though my Gravity Forms are set to show the visitor’s name and email address. This is a pain, because not only do I have to open the email to see who it’s from, I’m unable to use the Reply function.

You should set the reply-to e-mail header in Gravity Forms to be your visitor’s name and email address, so clicking reply will work as expected.

Thank you – that solved one problem. There is no way to show the correct sender in the inbox?

You could ask the author of Easy WP SMTP to add that as a feature.

Issue is that correct sender is you. It is sent from your smtp account from your website 😉
You can modify From and set there sender name and your – admin email. Name can be modified and emails will works well.

Peter, I’m not sure I understand what you mean. My form is set to display name of person who completed the form in the notification email, but the plugin settings overwrite it.

@orgassist, I actually made some improvements in 1.1.2 to override the From name and email. But Many users started having issues with it (not getting emails). So I reverted the plugin back to how it used to be in 1.1.1 (please see the changelog for 1.1.6)
