• Hey, I’m looking to add to my sidebar. Coming from Blogger, one of the (very few) simple things to do is add to that thing. Am I missing something–is there an admin function to just add a “widget” there? Or is it theme-dependant?

Specifically, I want to add a section where I can list my Feedburner RSS and email subscriptions.

Sorry this is so simple…I’m new to WordPress, but loving moving my blog from Blogger!!!

    Thanks in advance!

  • Depends actually if you have the widgets plugin installed or not. If you don’t, it’s just a matter of editing your theme’s sidebar.php and place the code that you want in there. If you do have widgets, I’d just add in the code that you want into a text widget and place it into your sidebar.

    Hope this helps,
