What a disaster, I have upgraded the free DM and as with the post – Download Manager Disappears, As Do Links! Heolp! I have lost all of my downloads.

Here is and example page – see the righthand column –

You can see the new green box added after I attempted the migration.

The other thread talks about updating the category shortcodes to fix the issue (which I am not happy about as this site has a great deal of downloads and pages)

Where do I do this?

And what am I updating them to?

Without any support I have started to manually assign downloads to a category (at the edit download level).

However, these new green headers and category layout has really affected my site. Look at the state of the righthand column here.

I want these green headings gone as well. Changes of this scale should have been communicated better.

This update essentially took down documents essential to a charity. God knows about other people’s sites.

sorry about that, for this once ( http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wordpress-download-manager-v2-7-0/ ) you need to reassign categories and icons. But the best things is now you can use free add-ons from here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/downloads/free-add-ons/ to add more features which was not possible with previous version
