SFTP and migrating from wordpress.org to WPEngine

    Hi,

    I want to move from my WordPress blog to a self hosted site at WPEngine. I need to back up my files but everything I read seems to relate to blogs that are self hosted.

    I spoke to WPEngine and they advised me to back up my database and files / theme / images using SFTP.

    Everything in my wordpress dashboard seems to be locked down. I can’t use any of the suggested plug ins and I am stuck.

    Have i missed something? Could someone point me in the right direction please.
