• I am using wordpress for a bit of a hybrid use. It is a monthly newsletter. WordPress is working great for it so far but I have one main problem regarding workflow.

I get articles that I flow in from a writer. Normally it is added to the site and rss when I hit submit.

I want to delay the launch of the pages until the 1st of the month when our new issue come out. I already know about postdating the timestamp but here is my issue.

I have to have it review by editors and the CEO. I dont mind telling the editors you have to go to the back end and find each article and view it but I dont think that will be an option for the CEO.

So what I want to do is have a working site with the post dated article showing up. Is there like a plugin or an admin level with which I could do this? And not have it live to the public? If I need to elaborate on what I’m trying to do let me know.

  • I would mark the post as Private and go ahead and publish it. The pings do not go out and you can send the link via email to the CEO.

    Hope this helps,
