    That is correct. That’s the default redirection for /wp-admin.

    but what about the error that i get from gtmetrix?
    Avoid landing page redirects

    To speed up page load times for visitors of your site, remove as many landing page redirections as possible, and make any required redirections cacheable if possible.

    http://www.ft-studio.com/ is a permanent redirect to http://ft-studio.com/

    Visitors to your site should not be going to wp-admin so page load times for that page is not a visitor problem.

    Enable gzip compression.
