Working only for Administrators
-
Hi, awesome plugin! Only problem is it’s only working for Administrators, where obviously it needs to work for Authors too…
I’m sure there’s something about how we’ve set up the site that’s doing it. We’re using the iPin theme (Pinterest-style interface) in conjunction with Gravity Forms so that users can fill in a form to create a post and a summarised version of it shows up on the main page.
So when logged in as an Adminstrator, it works perfectly – you can edit any post created by any user from the main page or the post’s single page just fine.
But when logged in as any other user level (including our desired one, Author) when you click “Edit” it shows the javascript loading animation forever.Additional info that might help:
While the loading animation is sitting over the item you’re trying to edit, the Edit button and its vertical line aren’t visible.
You can still get them to appear by hovering over another of your own posts, and when you click edit on another post the animation will disappear from the first and start playing forever over top of the new one, and the Edit button and its vertical line will now be available on the first one.Thank you!
Alex
