Using analytics to track WIDGET button clicks

Hi guys,

I’m trying to add google analytics code to track how many times a widget button in my sidebar is clicked. I’ve searched everywhere for the code and can’t seem to find it.

Please note, I’m not asking how to add html to the sidebar, I’m asking how to add html code to an existing widget button I created.
