    I would be surprised if they’re not already in your HTML somewhere.

    The problem is more likely to be that they appear twice in your HTML.

    The only time this doesn’t happen is on sites that load up their content via Ajax.

    It’s very hard to help on this one without seeing the site. Can you send me a link?

    If you’re not seeing either script on your page, then you may need to add

    wp_head();

    to your header.php file. More about the role of wp_head() here.
