API key

    I have successfully set up a blog at

    http://www.pacfs.org/wp/

    and thus have the “password” and other access information I need. But there is no API key listed in the place where it is supposed to be, and I was never e-mailed the key. Is there a way to request it be sent again?

    You get the API key as part of registering for a free blog at WordPress.COM. Don’t worry, you don’t have to use the blog, but that’s where you’ll get the key. (Assuming we’re talking about Akismet)

    I tried setting up another blog as per your instructions, the when I went to _use_ the key, at my pre-existing WordPress blog, it was rejected. Yes–I’m trying to use Akismet. Thanks a million for any further help.
