Hm I found a similar bug where the exit button doesn’t show up when the tabslide starts out in open view and is not set to autoclose… but this wasn’t browser specific
I’ll patch this up tomorrow and so you can just update

v1.4.2 is out and this issue is fixed. Please vote to support the plugin π
Sadly it still locks out on IE 7.
This is part of the error message I get on the browser (bottom right of page):
Message: Object doesn’t support this property or method
Line: 165
Char: 3
Code: 0
I don’t know if this will help but good luck.

I looked over the js file I recently overhauled and fixed a whole bunch of js errors that could’ve been causing this in v1.40
IE9 and up works fine…IE7 might be an entirely different beast
I tried to update and got a fatal error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tab_slide_upgrade_142() (previously declared in /home/sites/exciting-stories.co.uk/…./plugins/tab-slide/php/upgrade.php on line 95
I also notice that the tab (configured to be open on loading the page quickly changed from close to open and then locks in the open position in IE 8.
Hope this helps.
Best Stuart
Hello,
I made updating 1.40 and received a fatal mistake.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tab_slide_upgrade_142() (previously declared in /………./public_html/ru/wp-content/plugins/tab-slide/php/upgrade.php:88) in /…………./public_html/ru/wp-content/plugins/tab-slide/php/upgrade.php on line 95
Thanks

oops my bad…edit the tabslide plugin click on tabslide/php/upgrade.php
and edit line 192 from
function tab_slide_upgrade_142() {
to
function tab_slide_upgrade_143() {
Displays and runs now in IE7. Cheers Zorank.

Hello @zoranc,
Again the tab is locked open when the page is viewed in IE8.
WordPress Version : 3.6.1
Plugin Version : 1.50
Is there any solution for this?
