[Plugin: DP Maintenance Mode Lite] Contact Form and Email Subscription Problem

When a user fills in the contact form or newsletter subscribe section and clicks send/subscribe the progress or sending indicator (the 3 bars) just stays on permanently.

The message content and newsletter email data comes through to the nominated email address but for the actual user they would not know this. They would assume that the message is still in the process of being sent.

Is there a bug with this that prevents:

Your email has been saved successfully or
Your message has been sent successfully

being displayed?

Any help would be appreciated.
