Hi there,
It’s “the author” here. I’m not sure what led you to believe that I don’t care much about the plugin, but I assure you that I do!
What’s your web address? I’m running WordPress 3.3.2 and my Rage Avatars show up just fine. Also, are you running a special theme or theme framework?
Let me know and I’ll try to help out.
Oh I’m sorry, plugin says it works up to 3.3.2, and it didn’t work for me so I assumed that doesn’t include the 3.3.2 version and you didn’t post about it.
Anyway…
My blog is located at http://newage.ql.lt/blog and I am running a zeeSynergie theme, from ThemeZee (a free and great looking theme).
I have rage-avatars plugin activated now.
Usually, this error is due to strict permissions on your server. When trying to view an image this error is encountered:
http://newage.ql.lt/blog/wp-content/plugins/rage-avatars/lib/timthumb.php?src=http://newage.ql.lt/blog/wp-content/plugins/rage-avatars/avatars/009-ok-guy.png&w=48&h=48
Try changing the permission on the cache directory and creating the index.html file as the error message suggests. Let me know if that fixes the issue for you.
Ok cool, changing folder permissions around fixed this issue.
I had to chmod the cache folder to 777.
