Is this a fresh install? If not, do you have a recent database backup?
it’s a fresh install actually. i can create a new database for it though. I am running it locally. it’s just on wampserver. I have just tried to create a new table name “wp_posts” which won’t work because i don’t know the exact names that the columns should have.
what do you suggest?

Delete the database and re-install WordPress.

i have done it, but here again it says one or more of my tables my need it to be repaired. and i click on repair but each time it displays the same thing again. I hope u understand my sentence construction.

Did you use a fresh download of WordPress for the re-install?
i have just downloaded the wordpress today. after re-installing it, all the tables are correct, but it still tells me one or more need repair. i am a bit confused now
