    Hi, I already understand how to back up databases to make an exact duplicate of my site, but i want to know if anyone can tell me how i can make multiple IDENTICAL blogs on the same database? i know how to install several blogs on the same database but not how i can make the ‘copy’ blogs exactly the same as my original without manually re installing all theme settings, plugins etc.

    any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Do you mean you want to use same theme if so all you need to install the theme.

    hi govpatel, i want the same theme same plugins… basically an exact replica of the first blog… i spent quite a lot of time making it how i want and wondered if there was ane asy way to duplicate it onto the same database.

    You want to run more than one blog with the same database? Probably WordPress Multisite is what you need: http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network.

    You can make copy of wp-content folder replace the default wp-content folder and activate all plugins and the theme in admin panel

    Use one database like you said you know how to
