To Multi-site – or not?

    Hi.

    I’m an experienced WordPress(er). I normally install on UNIX with CPANEL however now I am faced with a vanilla Windows 2008 Server. I have been asked to port all my sites to this new server.

    QUESTION: Should I install them all independently of each other – or use the multi-site feature (network?) with MU plugin (with Domain Mapping)?

    Somehow, I’m happier keeping them all separate since I think of them all as independent identities and they are all very different from each other anyway.

    What do you think?

    My suggestion would be separate.. But different people will have different opinions

    If it was me I’d use the multisite feature. It’s a pain in the botty department to install that’s true but then you get to manage all your site in a single place. Having them all separate would be a nightmare to keep updated I would think.
