Why isn’t the plugin option visalble in the Admin? Please help…

Is this a wordpress.com blog by chance? Or a self-hosted installation?

Ah, I get it -I think- plugins only work with wordpress.org (self hosted site’s).

Yes, you can’t manage plugins on a wordpress.com blog. Is your blog part of a multi-site WordPress install?
