WordPress Visual Editor breaks HTML code

    Hey guys,

    Figured I should toss this here. Basically, as part of my many web development tasks, I am sent HTML to covert into WordPress templates. And, the content of these sites includes placeholder content for clients to edit.

    However, WordPress’ Visual Editor doesn’t take too well to more complex HTML in the HTML Editor, so when you switch to it everything breaks. We mainly convert more simple websites that don’t have this issue (as not much HTML is needed in the pages), but for the more complex conversions this has become a problem.

    Are there any ways to replace the visual editor with something that’s okay with visually editing content that is complex HTML, or at least a way to prevent this from happening?
