Blocking specific lines

    Alright, I noticed that you can make certain words turn entire comments to spam automatically, but what about phrases?

    Lately some moron has been spamming my site by writing comments that start with a link to a commercial site (always a different link) and then ending it with the exact line “Thanks for that awesome posting. It saved MUCH time “.

    Can I somehow block all comments that contain that exact phrase?

    Are you marking these as spam via the Akismet plugin?

    No, I´m not marking anything at all, because the options-page doesn´t allow me to mark anything else than single words.

    However, the options I have… they may be from Akismet but I´m unsure. How do I check? I remember reading the name akismet somwhere on the optionspages.

    With each new comment, you have options mark the comment to Allowed, Trash or Spam. Selecting Spam marks the comment as spam and submits a copy to the Akismet servers. If enough of these comments are marked as spam, Akismet will effectively blacklist the commentor.
