[plugin: Google Analyticator] tracking code not installed

I installed Google Analyticator and configured settings, but on the Google Analytics page, tracking status shows “Tracking Not Installed”. With this plugin, you don’t have to paste tracking code, right? so what am I not doing right?
Please someone help.

I looked at the FAQs on the developer’s site. I am using DynamiX theme and it has <?php wp_head(); ?> and <?php wp_footer(); ?>
