Translator code appears twice on pages

    We’ve been using the GTranslate widget in the header of our site for a couple of years. Over the past few days, it has started showing the two language widget in the top right of the header (where it’s supposed to show) AND in the bottom left of the site’s footer. The site is built with the Divi theme and I’ve looked in the footer template but there’s no extra Gtranslate widget code in there.

    Has this happened with anyone else recently? We have the widget code in a Divi code module in the top of our header template. Thanks!

    Update: Tried to test the shortcode version of the widget in a text module. It’s displaying the widget twice. I’m guessing it’s because the code from the header template is also being triggered from the backend?

    Here’s the code that we have in the header now. It wasn’t causing any issues until very recently:

    <div class="gtranslate_wrapper"></div> <script>window.gtranslateSettings = {"default_language":"en","native_language_names":true,"url_structure":"sub_domain","languages":["en","es"],"wrapper_selector":".gtranslate_wrapper"}</script>

    Since the shortcode displays the widget the way we want it to appear (minus the repetition of course), should we simply replace the code widget in the site’s header with a text module that has the shortcode?
