htaccess problem?

Hi, really don’t know what I’ve done, but I think I have a htaccess file problem.

I added a new domain to my directory without creating a subdirectory, so it blew my old domain access away.

the old domain is sitting in a subfolder entitled /elmers_blog/

I can physically type http://mydomainname/elmers_blog and fully browse the site. But if I try pointing to that subfolder thru “Domain Pointing” in my control panel, all I get is white page and messed-up html, like it’s not loading wordpress correctly.

Any ideas? It would be greatly appreciated!
