Hi @ericbourges,
You will need to *update to the latest version of the Feed Them Social free plugin (currently 2.9.8.5). There’s been some major connectivity bugs fixed with this version, specifically some Twitter bug fixes.
*If the update does not show up in your WordPress plugins panel, delete the FTS free plugin. Then, click the ‘Add New’ button at the top of the WordPress plugins panel, search “Feed Them Social” and re-install. The most recent version (2.9.8.5) should then install. Once installed and active, you should be able to gain a FB and/or IG token as well as fixing a few Twitter bugs, without issue.
After updating the plugin, you can simply clear the FTS cache and your feed should then display as it should.
If the feed does not display as it should after updating the plugin and clearing the FTS cache, then generate a new shortcode, replace the old shortcode, and again, clear the FTS cache so that the changes can take effect.
Best regards
Thank you for your answer.
I have several sites equipped with this plugin which have the same error logs, all of them have the latest 2.9.8.5 update.
I still tried, on one of these sites, to delete the extension and reinstall it, but even after emptying the FTS cache the same errors are recorded in the logs, example:
[29-Jun-2022 08:45:18 UTC] PHP Notice: Trying to get property ‘name’ of non-object in /xxxxx/xxxxxx/wp-content/plugins/feed-them-social/feeds/twitter/class -fts-twitter-feed.php on line 427
Hi @ericbourges,
Thank you for alerting us to this and thanks for the details on these error log warnings, we’ll look into correcting these on our next update.
Best regards,
