install php error on xampp

    Hi,
    Just new to this great stuff.
    I have tried to install wp offline using xampp. After following the installation recommendation, i have tried to run install.php. The page comes up with coding error. I have tried every set up, no success. Can some help what do i do wrong?
    I use XP home op system with lates wp and xampp version.
