Hi,
I am sorry to hear about the issue you’re experiencing. I am happy to help out.
Sydney Pro adds extra footer options. And this might not able retain your Sydney free footer due special settings you made with it before. For that reason, you’d need to do footer settings adjustments when Sydney Pro is active by going to the Appearance menu > Customize > Footer.
Afterwards, you may need to go to Appearance > Widgets menu and ensure your widgets are in correct location.
Hope this reply helps.

ok got this, is there any option to copy and paste or import the footer like
https://demo.athemes.com/themes/?theme=Sydney
?
Hi @kreativkarlsruhe,
Thank you for getting back.
1. Install the Starter Sites for Elementor plugin and activate it;
2. Go to Appearance menu > Starter Sites and choose Original (free) demo
3. Disable all import options except Widgets. See this screenshot for visual guide
4. Once import finished, visit your widgets panel (Appearance > Widgets) to do some adjustments as you may get extra widgets added to Sidebar during import process in the background
Hope this reply helps.

Kharis

Hi,
Thank you for getting back.
Seems likely you’ll need to try the Classic Widgets. So you’ll get the block-based widgets disabled once the plugin activated.
