This is interesting! I can delete it on my test site with the latest MailPoet plugin. In fact, it’s several blocks eventually, that should be deleted one by one.
Can you please share a screenshot of the block you can’t delete? Do you do this for a new email or you’re editing an existing one?
Which MailPoet version do you use?

The box I can’t delete is the outer one. I can delete the inner ones if I put something in it, but I can’t delete the container.
I tried putting it in a newsletter, and couldn’t delete it like the screenshot. Then I cloned that newsletter, tried again, and that was the screenshot. I just tried again with a new newsletter, and I got the same thing.
We’re using MailPoet 3 v.3.65.1 and MailPoet 3 Premium v. 3.65.0

Thanks for getting back to me with the additional details!
I was now able to replicate this issue and reported it to our developers as a bug.
I don’t have an exact ETA but I’ll post another update when it’s fixed.
