I installed WordPress as test with an url like http://servername. I created a domain-certificate (cer, key) and used Really Simple SSL in order to switch to https. Works just fine, everything is alright.

Now, I would like to change the url to something like https://intranet. So I created a domain-certificate (cer, key) – and now I cannot figure out how to CHANGE the certificate. Really Simple SSL doesn’t seem to show any option to do that (“your progress”, a few settings, like “mixed content fixer”, “tips & tricks”, “our plugins” and “support-forums”).

I changed the url of the website and accepted the certificate-warning of my browser in order to see, if this triggers someting with Really Simple SSL (the plugin might detect a mismatch of url and certificate and offer to fix that) – but I still cannot see a way to tell Really Simple SSL to use the NEW certificate.

Can you help me with that?

    Hi @waschbaerueberfall,

Possibly you need to select that certificate as the active one in your hosting dashboard. This can’t be done in Really Simple SSL. It will just detect the current active SSL certificate for you.
