Error while installing TinyMCE plugin

    After uploading the TinyMCE rich text editor plugin, i get the following error:

    “the plugin does not have a valid header”

    The files have been uploaded but wordpress doesn’t acknowledge it’s existence. I’m running wordpress 2.9.2

    Can someone please help?
