Hi @carlrgates,
Does it work when you add your Data Project to your dashboard?
Please see the known limitions for shortcode wpdadiehard:

Thanks,
Peter
Thanks for the quick response. No, it does not work when added to dashboard, I get error message “ERROR: Not authorized”. I think I have created a straightforward uncomplicated database but if you think it will help, I can completely uninstall and reinstall.
Hi @carlrgates,
Does column roles contain your role?
Thanks,
Peter
I have the Data Projects/Role parameter set to “Admin”. Is this the Column Roles you are taking about?
I have each parent/child table defined as a menu item on the dashboard so I am able to go to the table directly from the dashboard and add rows as well as adding using Data Explorer. I see the rows when I “View” or “Edit” the parent but when I go to “Add New” to the child, I get the error.
I was able to delete the parent which also deleted the children.
Hi Carl,
>>> I see the rows when I “View” or “Edit” the parent but when I go to “Add New” to the child, I get the error.
How is your relationship defined? Can you share that?
Does your child table have a primary or unique index? Is a table or a view?
Thanks,
Peter
All are tables,
all relationships are 1:n,
all relationships have source of primary key to child table (Parent_table.key + Child_table.Parent_key).
all have “PRIMARY” indexes on key only and are unique.
all keys are auto_increment.
Continued from previous message-
Would you prefer an admin link to my application? It is just a test/learning site so I can always recreate it if messed up. I would need a non-public email to send info.
>>> Would you prefer an admin link to my application?
Yes, please! You can use the contactform on the lugin website to send the information in private.
Thanks,
Peter
