• Hi guys,

I want to connect existing pages so the langauge drop down menu on the homepage works fine.

I already learned that I have to “link” the pages by entering the name of the page next to the “+”. But unfortunately there are no suggestions, so I am not able to select the page I want to link / connect. “Show All Languages” in the drop down menu in the dashboard is selected.

What am I doing wrong ? Why does starting to type the name of the page I want to link to does not trigger the drop-down menu with pages suggestions ?

    Thank you, smo

    Hello,

Clicking on the + creates the translation. Then you just have to add your content as you would for a new page and publish the page. The link to the original page is automatically created. See https://polylang.pro/doc/translating-pages-posts-categories-and-tags/

If you unintentionnally created two separate pages, then you can link them with the autocomplete input field. If this doesn’t work, this is probably linked to a conflict with your theme or another plugin which breaks our ajax request.
