Memphis Docs upload problem

    Uploading documents to Memphis Docs previously worked ok, but has stopped working. I’m not aware of any changes to the system or plugins that may have caused a problem.

    Add new file, fill in details and select folder. Select file to be added, click on “Add Document”

    Page from site is displayed, seems like a random page, no other message is displayed, file is not uploaded

    I have a workaround – which is to zip file and use batch upload, but this is not suitable for other users.

    Read a couple of forum posts – one suggested updating setting “Post Page Target Type” to “_self”, this had no effect.

    The second forum post suggests changing permission 0755 on Mdocs folder to 0777. This, also, did not solve the problem.

    A little more info

    Using latest version of Memphis Docs (3.10.10) and M.E,Calendar Lite (5.9.0)

    When I try and add a new file to Mdocs, I get redirected to the page with the last event added to MECalendar.

    I have solved this now

    I still had the problem after making sure all the plugins were updated.

    After the updates, there was a badge left on the ME Calendar menu. It was on the “All Events” entry on the ME Calendar menu. All I had to do to get rid of that was click on the “All Events” link. The badge disappeared and then the Memphis Docs upload started working again.

    I have no idea why an information badge in ME Calendar should prevent an upload from working in Memphis Docs – there seems to be no logic to that at all

    I’m having this same issue.
    I’m unable to add a new document or version of a document. As stated above I’m able to use the batch upload feature, but that will not work for other users or for version control.

    I’m not sure what “badges” are, but I have no errors and themes, plugins, and WordPress are up to date. I’m also running PHP 7.4. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Hello I have the same problem and tried to find out what you was writing about badge in MEC… I don’t get it! Could you supply a picture or a litte more information please!

    I had the same issue. I did not see a “badge”, but after clicking on “All Events” under MEC Calendar and then navigating back to Memphis Docs to upload a document, it worked as normal. Very weird.
