• How do you post examples of code in a post here without it getting all bent out of shape and garbled – I tried to post a code example once and it ended up looking real strange and made no sense at all

    It was kinda embarassing – LOL

    Do I use the code tag at the bottom like this:

    example

    Or do I use the backticks like this:

    example

    Or do I put “code” in between backticks like this:

    <code> example </code>

    Ok – now I know

    In the 1st example, I used just the code tags

    In the 2nd example, I used just the backticks

    Looks like the 3rd example is the way to go – where you put the tags inside of backticks so that the tags show up in the post

    Just one question – do you put backticks before and after each tag in the example or just one set of backticks before and after the entire code example
