Using <?php wp_loginout(); ?> in a sidebar widget

    I’m trying to insert the the Log In/Out function as par of an unordered list in a sidebar widget, but when I add

    • <?php wp_loginout(); ?>

      • to the list, nothing show up. Is there some reason this isn’t working? Do php snippets not work in text widgets or something?
