Firefox Mobile bug?

Hello,

I got a problem on firefox mobile. When I select any of the fields the screen scrolls to the top of the page instantly.

I assume the problem comes from the plugin in combination with firefox mobile, because the form does work in other mobile browsers.

Could you check this on Firefox mobile?

Hey there,

I tested this on Firefox Mobile on Android – it did jump a little, mostly due to the keyboard. Here’s what that looked like for me:

I tested using Storefront as the theme, with WooCommerce and Stripe enabled – I’m not seeing the same behavior on my end, which makes me think it’s probably a combination of plugins or the theme on your site.

If you share the URL, I’d be happy to take a look.

This is what I see on firefox mobile:

I use a completely clean install for both wordpress and ‘scape’ theme. Everything is updated. Just a few basic plugins are on aswell, and with them turned off, still the issue is there. All the other browsers work perfectly.

Edit: I also tried Twenty Twenty theme and it happens there aswell. So it is not the theme I am using.

I wasn’t able to reproduce the problem:

I checked your site for errors, but wasn’t able to find anything.

We’ve seen isolated reports of this issue – it’s usually down to the specific phone, OS, and browser, for example:

Can you tell me which phone and which OS you’re using, so I can narrow down where things might be going wrong?

Hi Hannah,

The phone I use is a motorola g7 play. And the OS is Android 9, everything is up-to-date.

I also tried it with a clean browser install. Both the normal firefox and the beta testing versions. Both have the same issue.

Hey there,

Thanks for the specific details! I don’t have access to a Motorola G7, but was able to test using Firefox on Motorola Moto X 2nd Gen. Using that, I tested the checkout page on your site, which didn’t jump at all – it was the same as in the previous screenshot.

As I haven’t been able to reproduce this my end at all, I’m wondering if it’s specific to your device. Have you been able to try it on a different Android device using Firefox?

Thanks again for testing it.

It seems that the page works fine on other devices. I assume that the combination of my phone with firefox and the form creates this specific problem.

I will try to ask support at firefox and see if they know something about it.
