Can I create a rotating product carousel with shortcodes?

So I would like to have a rotating product carousel in one section of my home page.

But I only want the products to be 1 row and rotating through the various products

Now I’ve been using the shortcode:

[products limit=”4″ columns=”4″]

And it works great, except if I add any more than 4 products, it creates a second row of products, which I do not want.

I tried adding row=”1″ to the shortcode, but it didnt’ seem to do anything.

So is there a way to have a scrolling product carousel using just the shortcode?

Also if that is possible, is it possible to add navigation arrows to the carousel too?
