Cortex & Single Product Page Issues

Hi!

Been searching in the forums, but I can’t really find anything directly related to my question.

I’m using a theme by Mikado called Cortex and woocommerce. My issue is I am trying to use another plugin to be able to use videos in the gallery or a video as the features image on the product page but it seems the Cortex theme has some overrides for the single product display.

No matter what plugin i use, it either won’t display the features image as a video (displays for a second and then disappears) or it won’t properly display the videos in the gallery.

I also can’t seem to use any plugins that have anything to do with the product feature image or gallery, so anything i do use, is either broken or doesn’t work due to the Cortex theme overriding features.

Another issue is the image display, any gallery images i upload are really far apart and when clicked on, do not display the proper aspect ratio, iv tinkered with the values on the image itself (when adding to the gallery) and looked around the mikado options but nothing to fix this issue.

Any thoughts on how i can get around these issues? It’s really giving me a headache.
