Hi,
thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
It seems that this is caused from the type of button in which the Shortcode has been added. Right now, this is a “Code” button. Please try again by adding the Shortcode into a “Shortcode” block in the block editor on the “Edit” screen of this page.

Hello Tobias
I have put it in a shortcode box but then it still occurs
when I take out the print code options then the filter is visible
It seems to me the print buttons are in overlay with the filter option
I have now taken out the print code like this
[table id=2 / responsive=collapse / datatables_columnfilterwidgets=true datatables_columnfilterwidgets_exclude_columns=1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 / datatables_button_filter=true / automatic_url_conversion=true / automatic_url_conversion=true automatic_url_conversion_new_window=true / / datatables_columnfilter=true / datatables_fixedheader=top /]
but when I add this one in datatables_buttons=”pdf,print” as well then I only see the print buttons but not the filter anymore
Hi,
The reason for that latter issue is that they modify the same JS parameter. For a solution, please see https://wordpress.org/support/topic/conflict-columnfilterwidgets-and-buttons-1/#post-6715527
Can you please try that? After that, I’ll try to find the cause for the overlapping buttons.

Tobias
