  • Hi Ovidiu,
yes, this is very good idea.

The cache is already implement. In some server the cache folder doesn’t word properly because the permission write are not set.
Try to set right permission on the cache folder under flash feed scroll reader folder.

The excerpt showing is a good good idea… I think to insert it in necxt realease.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

which cache folder should be used? my permissions are ok, I jsut didn’t know the plugin already caches.

    Hi Ovidiu,
    see in the plugin folder:
    /wp-content/plugins/flash-feed-scroll-reader/libraries/cache

    Check permission on “cache” folder

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

weird. nothing in the cache folder.
    permission as follows:

I am running suPhp so a chown -R user:group web/ and chmod -R 755 web/ are ok. afterwards wordpress, plugins and themes can be updated and edited, so there is no reason why this plugin wouldn’t write to the cache. except if the checks it does are not returning the right results…

what checks does it exactly do?
