Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to just back up the post and comments. Do a fresh install in the new server, restore the post, install the theme and plugins?

admin – tools – export
on old blog

admin – tools import
on new blog

That thing doesn’t export everything though, does it?

What about settings for images and stuff?

to get everything you must use a database back up

there is a great plugin to back up the db for you

I’m afraid you didn’t understand what I mean. I can get all the files like pictures and uploads from my FTP panel, I just want to know if there will be any problems like picture not showing up when I try to restore the posts.

I don’t want a complete database backup
