It’s not the top bar, it is Minimal header Style used in the Nails demo. Turn off the top bar section form the Customize > Top bar > General and use only header to achieve the same layout.
You can control the header height from the Customize > Header section.
Tried it but I can’t get it to look exactly the same. Plus I ended up with a ton of white space after the logo where the header menu should be.
I am not using Elementor either….
So I reverted back to Top Menu.
It doesn’t require Elementor. You can achieve it using the customizer settings of OceanWP as I mentioned above.
Ok I will try it again.
Also currently I do not see the menu at all on mobile when I have the menu in the Top Bar.
I see the Content and Social icons from the top bar but not the menu. What should I check?
In OceanWP, the top menu moves inside the main menu in mobile view.
Back to emulating Nails.
I now have it set to minimal and menu after logo.
What other options does Nails have set? It’s not working the same.
Do I remove the Logo and set Header Media?
And also I see mobile menu now but when I click on it nothing happens. Might be caching/minizing some javascript?
What is JS name for mobile menu to function?

Nails demo uses Minimal Header style. No need to remove the logo. It is the default header style of OceanWP. Below the header, there is an elementor section.
For the mobile menu, try to search ‘sidr’ css and js files. Please link to the page so that I can the issue.
I have it working now – the menu that is.
The mobile menu part I am still figuring out 😉
For the mobile menu, go to Customize > Header > Mobile menu and customize it as per your need.
It is customized. One of my caching plugins must be whacking the JS or CSS. Just can’t figure out which setting 🙁
Oh, check every setting of the plugin to find out which causes the issue.
In AutoOptimize it’s this JS setting that is the problem.
Aggregate all linked JS-files to have them loaded non-render blocking? If this option is off, the individual JS-files will remain in place but will be minified.
If I turn this off the mobile menu works.
I can exclude the Mobile Menu JS if I had the JS Filename.
I currently set this in the Exclude line:
seal.js, js/jquery/jquery.js, sidr.js
but that didnt’ help.
Any other JS files to exclude from this setting?

Go to OceanWP > assets > js and you will see all the js file. Try to pick one that you are using in your header style.
