If you set the product weights then the weight will be calculated automatically. Are you saying this is not working?

this works
issue is that parcels have more weight then the only the porduct weight, how can I automatically add a packacking weight for the packaing weight itself
the product weight is 1.7kg and packaging weight is 0.4kg, then the total weight is 2.1kg and not 1.7kg like the system says and this would generate the false label
You would have to do this programmatically using the filter ‘pr_shipping_dhl_order_weight’ and adding any weight you want.
Hi Shadi
We have the same issue, we ship Bottles which we have the weight as liter 0.7 (we has to) but the real shipment weight with the packaging is different. Could you please so kind and explain how to use the filter that you mentioned above.
Thanks

This would be really helpful! I’ve already generated a lot of shipment labels based on product weight only, which gave a totally wrong overall weight of the final parcel.
Before this plugin came on I used a third party plugin ( ELEX WooCommerce DHL Express ) to generate and print shipment labels. There it was possible to generate shipping measurements and weights. The total weight was then calculated based on product weight + packaging.
It would be very useful if this plugin by DHL itself would be able to do those calculations!
This will be added in a future version of the plugin.
