Import CSV of comments (from generic comments script)

Hi all

I was previously using a generic comments script on a site of mine, which I’m moving to WP. I’d like to import those comments into the WP database, and I’ve got a CSV file of them.

Ideally I’d like to map the relevant fields onto the WP database fields and import (they are simple enough – name, date, comment content, location). I don’t think it should be that difficult but I could be wrong.

Is this possible?
