WC_Background_Process not found while activating plugin

    Hi,

    I’m trying to install WC Vendors and when I activate the plugin I’m getting 500 internal server error. When I checked the log it shows WC_Background_Process not found in class-wcv-background-updater.php. My wordpress version is 4.8.7 and woocommerce version 3.2.6.

    On the class-wcv-background-updater.php when I changed WC_Background_Process to WP_Background_Process the activation was successful.

    Is there any issues in doing so? If so should I switch to an older version of WC Vendors? If so please provide version no.

    Hello,

    We have a policy to not support old versions of WC Vendors Marketplace or WooCommerce. It is extremely risky and poor practice to not keep all your plugins and themes as up to date as possible. This is a security concern and you should not be running 8 month old versions of software in the WordPress eco system.

    We also do not support the modification of core files.
