• So, I’m helping this guy make some adjustments to his website, and he wants me to put up some new images, that will work similarly to the page I linked. I have the new images, but I’m having two issues.

!.) When I upload the images into WordPress, they are colored differently, look terrible from the actual file I have.

2.) I have no idea how to code the images to do what they do on that page.

Any coaching or help would be appreciated!

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

I’ve actually changed and updated the theme, as well as all plugins.

My first issue has been resolved – as I found out I needed to convert my PDFs into Jpegs for them to look correct on WordPress.

The second issue is still at large. The initial way it was set up, clicking on the link would open a custom page that has the options to print and download the PDF/image/etc

While I have figured out how to open up the image in a new page upon clicking it, I realized in the coding, and in his media library, he also has some “filetype” “application/pdf” in there, which I don’t know how to create.
