After you install the plugin and click **Enable Zynli**, you sign in to [Zynli](https://zynli.ai), authorize your site, and the plugin: * Loads the Zynli chat widget on your site * Identifies logged-in WordPress users for personalized support * Exposes a secure REST proxy so Zynli workflows can read site pages and posts * Adds WooCommerce order and product actions automatically when WooCommerce is active **Zynli account required.** You can create an account during the connect flow. #### Corporate WordPress sites On a standard WordPress site (no WooCommerce), Zynli supports: * Embeddable AI support widget * Knowledge base crawling from your site content * Support workflows and API actions via Zynli Actions & Flows * Conversational forms in the chat widget * Human agent handoff and ticketing from the Zynli dashboard #### WooCommerce stores When WooCommerce is installed and active, the same plugin also: * Identifies logged-in WooCommerce customers with order traits * Exposes order, product, and category REST proxy endpoints * Installs starter order/shipping/returns workflows on Zynli Pro+ #### How it works 1. Install and activate Zynli on your WordPress site. 2. In WordPress admin, open **Zynli** and click **Enable Zynli**. 3. Sign in to Zynli (or create an account) and authorize your site. 4. The chat widget appears on your site. Configure KB sources, workflows, and forms in the Zynli dashboard. ### External services This plugin connects to [Zynli](https://zynli.ai), a hosted customer-support platform operated by Zynli. **When the service is used** * When a site admin clicks **Enable Zynli**, **Disconnect**, or when the plugin syncs the connection token. * When the Zynli chat widget loads on the site (connected sites only). * When Zynli workflows request site content or WooCommerce data from the plugin’s REST proxy (connected sites only). **What data is sent** * **Connect / exchange:** site URL (`home_url`), WordPress version, WooCommerce version (if active), plugin version, and a one-time authorization code. * **Sync / disconnect:** site URL and connection token. * **Widget:** tenant reference, app URL, and (for logged-in users) a signed identity payload (user ID, email, display name, optional order count and spend on WooCommerce sites). * **REST proxy (inbound to your site):** Zynli sends authenticated requests to `/ wp-json/zynli/v1/*` on your site. Responses include site info, pages, posts, and — when WooCommerce is active — order, product, inventory, return, and related commerce action data under merchant policy. * **Webhooks (outbound, WooCommerce):** When enabled, the plugin asynchronously notifies Zynli of order/product/inventory changes. WooCommerce is optional and unlocks order/ product automation when active. ### Do I need a Zynli account? Yes. The plugin uses a one-click OAuth-style connect flow. You can sign up at zynli. ai during authorization. ### Is Zynli free? The plugin is free. Zynli adds AI chat, knowledge base answers, workflow automation, and forms. Human agents can take over conversations from the Zynli dashboard. ### What data does the plugin send to Zynli? During connect, your site URL, WordPress version, WooCommerce version (if active), and plugin version are sent to Zynli. After connect, Zynli may call your site’s REST proxy (pages, posts, and WooCommerce data when available) using a connection token issued during authorization. Logged-in user identity (user ID, email, name, and optional order stats) is signed locally and passed to the widget.
