## Description

Zivooo is a content team that runs without you. It works out what your buyers are
searching for, writes the article, puts a human editor in front of it, and then
publishes the finished piece straight to this site.

This plugin is the last step in that chain. It is the secure link between your Zivooo
account and your WordPress install, and it is the only part you ever have to touch.
Paste one key, and articles you approve in Zivooo arrive here as real posts: formatted,
illustrated, filed under the right category, and carrying the structured data that
search engines and AI answer engines read.

#### Key features

 1. **Hands off publishing.** Approve an article in Zivooo and it lands here as a post.
There is no export, no copy and paste, and no formatting cleanup afterwards.
 2. **Schema in the page head.** Every article carries its JSON-LD structured data,
printed in the `<head>` where search engines and AI answer engines actually look
for it, not stitched into the body where it usually gets stripped.
 3. **Images in your Media Library.** Article images are copied onto your own site
and set as the featured image, so nothing hot-links an outside host and nothing
    breaks when storage moves.
 4. **Category routing.** Zivooo reads your existing categories and files each article
under the one you picked, and can create a new category when you ask it to.
 5. **Author control.** Choose which user articles are published as. Anyone on your
site who can publish posts can be the byline.
 6. **Works with your SEO plugin.** Yoast SEO and Rank Math are detected automatically,
and the page level schema they already output is skipped, so you never end up with
    duplicate Article or Breadcrumb markup.
 7. **Safe refreshes.** When Zivooo updates a published article, the permalink, the
publish state and any category you changed in WordPress all stay exactly as you
    left them.
 8. **Signed requests only.** Every request is verified with an HMAC SHA256 signature
derived from your key. Anything unsigned or mis-signed is rejected before it reaches
    your database.

#### What Zivooo does for you

Zivooo is a paid subscription service. An active account publishes 30 finished blog
posts a month to this site, each one reviewed by a human editor before it reaches
you, with custom images generated for every post, periodic AI refreshes of articles
already live, and visibility tracking so you can see what the work is returning.
The plugin is included at no extra cost and is the supported way to connect a WordPress
site.

#### External services

This plugin connects your site to Zivooo, an external third party service at https://
zivooo.com. The plugin is only useful with an active Zivooo account.

The plugin never initiates a connection to Zivooo on its own. It has no cron jobs,
no background checks and no telemetry. Everything below happens only in response
to a request that Zivooo signs with the key you paste on the settings screen:

 * Zivooo sends article content to your site: title, body HTML, excerpt, slug, category,
JSON-LD schema and image URLs. The plugin creates or updates a post from it.
 * The plugin replies with the resulting post ID, title, permalink, status and modified
date, so Zivooo knows what it published here. The same applies to the read endpoints
Zivooo uses to reconcile: one returns the posts this plugin created, one returns
   your post categories.
 * While handling a publish, the plugin downloads that article’s images from Zivooo
storage into your Media Library. This is the only outbound HTTP request the plugin
   makes.

No visitor data, analytics, user accounts or site statistics are sent anywhere.

Zivooo’s terms of service are at https://zivooo.com/tos and its privacy policy is
at https://zivooo.com/privacy.

#### Privacy

The plugin does not collect, store or transmit personal data to any third party.
It stores one secret key in your site options, used solely to verify that incoming
requests really came from Zivooo.

## Installation

 1. Install the plugin through the WordPress plugin directory, or upload the plugin
    folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`.
 2. Activate it from the Plugins screen.
 3. In your Zivooo dashboard, open Settings, then Publishing, and click Connect on
WordPress. Generate a connection key. Zivooo shows it once.
 4. In WordPress, open the Zivooo menu in the sidebar, paste the key on the settings
screen, choose which user articles are published as, and save.
 5. Back in Zivooo, click Test connection. The Zivooo screen in WordPress will show
Connected, and approved articles start arriving.

## FAQ

### Do I need a Zivooo account?

Yes. This plugin is a connector for the Zivooo service and does nothing on its own.

### Does it publish articles live, or as drafts?

Whichever you choose in Zivooo. An article can arrive published or as a draft waiting
for you.

### Where does the schema appear?

In the `<head>` of each connected post, as valid JSON-LD. That is where search engines
and AI answer engines look for it.

### What if I already use an SEO plugin?

Yoast SEO and Rank Math are detected automatically. The connector skips the page
level schema types they already output, so you will not get duplicate Article or
BreadcrumbList markup, and still adds the types they do not cover.

### Which category do articles get published to?

Whichever one is chosen in Zivooo when the article is approved, falling back to
the default in your Zivooo publishing settings. If neither is set, WordPress applies
its own default. Refreshes of an already published article never change its category,
so any change you make in WordPress sticks.

### Will a refresh overwrite the changes I made in WordPress?

Not the ones that matter. Refreshes leave the permalink, the publish state, the
category and any featured image you chose yourself exactly as they are.

### What happens if I deactivate the plugin?

Your posts stay where they are. Deleting the plugin removes the stored key and the
connection log, but leaves every published article and its images untouched on your
site.

## Changelog

#### 1.0.1

 * The connection panel no longer reports a key mismatch because of a stray request
from somewhere else. Only a signature of the shape Zivooo sends is recorded,
and it takes a second rejection to say the key is wrong.

#### 1.0.0

 * First release.
